Master Jean R. Theodat

Jean R. Theodat is the head instructor of Elite Tae Kwon Do, and his curriculum is regarded as the standard for many schools in the region. He currently teaches Tae Kwon Do at local University as part of Physical Education and chief Instructor of the Tae Kwon Do Club there. Mr. Theodat was chosen in 1975 to represent the U.S. in the World Karate Championship held in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Theodat started learning Tae Kwon Do in 1976 when his Karate instructor moved out of Boston. Since then, and all throughout his career Mr. Theodat has created many great athletes, regional champions, and national champions in the martial arts. Mr. Theodat currently holds an 8th-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, as well as black belt ranks in several other martial art forms. Mr. Theodat trained under some of the most famous Masters in the United States and Korea.

Instructor: Michael Abovsky

Is a loyal and devoted student who continues to train and teaches under the leadership of his teacher. A state champion here in the State of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Mr. Abovsky doesn’t like competitions that much but extremely intelligent and a gifted fighter. When not fishing or working out alone, he spends most of his time teaching either at a local University or at Elite Tae Kwon Do. Mr. Abovsky is a 5th Dan certified by the world Tae Kwon Do Federation.
